Broadening of goals

Identification takes place as a mental mechanism and remains
unnoticed for most of the time. As the socially most important
form of learning, it is a necessary precondition for personality
development. But if the identification model is not developed
further in accordance with the prevailing level of personality,
it can cause disturbance and conflicts. These are based on
the misunderstanding that one does not differentiate between
one's own personality and behavior patterns of the model.
The prerequisite for understanding what another person is
thinking or feeling is that we put ourselves in his position
This action can be a projection.
Projection means the transfer of conscious and
unconscious expectations, as well as characteristics of one's
own personality to the outer world and the social partners.
People unknowingly use "projection" to see them in themselves.
They possess but do not want to see them in themselves. They
see the thorn in others' eyes but not the beam in their own eyes.
"projection" is a systematic dishonesty against oneself and
injustice towards the partner. An example of this is an aggressive
person. If asked why he attacks others, treats them impolitely and
dishonestly, hurts and abuses them, he will reply that he must
defend himself because the others are so big and mean and the
world is so unjust.
Not everyone who has a bald head, has overturned a bottle
of oil.
One can interest this to mean: Do not judge others by
your own standards; ask for the motives.
Questions: Tell me, why do you play the piano for five hours
every day?
Answer: One must only know what one wants.
Questin: And what do you want?
Answer: The adjacment apartment.

A man accompained his friend to the railway station.
When they reached there, the train was ready for departure.
Both the men ran behind the train. One of them succeeded in
jumping into the train. The other man doubled up with
laughter. When someone asked him the reason, he replid,
"Actually I was the one who had to travel by the train."

The greatest arrogance and the gratest timidity are
                  equal to the greatest self-ignorance.
